Description

AS AN HR AND RECRUITMENT LEAD, YOU WILL:

  • Oversee candidate acquisition in the dental field, through various recruitment media platforms.
  • Conduct initial interviews with suitable candidates
  • Deliver a smooth system to ensure the right candidates are chosen
  • Recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions when required and onboarding new hires.
  • Administer employee benefits, including pension schemes, healthcare, and other perks, ensuring all benefits are processed correctly and communicated effectively.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of compensation and benefits policies to ensure competitiveness in the market.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Handle employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary, and performance management.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and wellbeing programs.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on key metrics.
  • Support the payroll process by providing relevant employee data, including new hires, terminations, and contract changes.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MOTIVATED INDIVIDUAL WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in a HR advisory role, managing employee relations cases and building strong working relationships.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and best practices.
  • Familiarity with confidentiality and data protection laws.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and implement new processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem solving and organisation.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A CIPD qualification (or working towards one) is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR/recruitment role, preferably within the UK, with a solid understanding of UK employment law. Experience working within the dental industry is desirable.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of UK employment law, GDPR, and HR best practices. Familiarity with HRIS systems is an advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:
