Description Position Summary The Recruitment and Training Coordinator supports the full employee lifecycle by leading recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives while providing ongoing HR operational support. This role partners closely with employees and managers to deliver guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management processes. The coordinator plays a key role in ensuring compliance with employment regulations, safety standards, and company policies, while maintaining accurate HR records and supporting payroll and benefits administration as needed. Through effective training programs, employee engagement initiatives, and clear communication, this position contributes to a positive workplace culture and the smooth execution of day-to-day HR operations with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate and support the full-cycle recruitment process, including creating and posting job advertisements, reviewing and screening candidates, and scheduling interviews Partner with hiring managers and external recruiters to understand staffing needs and ensure timely and effective hiring outcomes Update existing job descriptions and draft new job descriptions for manager review and approval Review resumes to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, motivation, and alignment with company values and role requirements Prepare offer letters for management approval and communicate offers and next steps to selected candidates Lead onboarding activities for new hires, including new hire documentation, system access coordination, orientation meetings, and integration into the company culture Educate newly hired employees on HR policies, procedures, and company standards Assist in developing and continuously improving onboarding programs, including employee welcome activities and new hire meetings Collaborate as a key member of the HR team to enhance communication across the organization and streamline recruitment and onboarding processes. Coordinate offboarding processes to ensure compliance and positive transitions. Training & Development Conduct regular meetings with management to identify subjects be addressed Work with management to track training programs with different vendors Assist with the creation and implementation of training programs. Develop and manage the performance management tool. Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness and success rate Manage and coordinate company and vendor training programs Develop effective induction programs for new staff Reporting & Data Support Prepare recruiting, onboarding,?offboarding, and training reports for HR and leadership review Maintain dashboards and trackers related to hiring, tasks and training activity Support data accuracy and record retention in accordance with company policies Offboarding? Coordinate the employee offboarding process, including exit documentation, system access notifications, and equipment return coordination Schedule and administer exit interviews; compile feedback and provide summary reports to HR leadership Ensure offboarding checklists are completed accurately and in a timely manner Update HRIS records to reflect employee terminations and status changes Partner with HR and managers to ensure a smooth and professional employee transition General Administration Assist with monthly reporting to safety compliance portals Support the management team providing HR guidance when appropriate HRIS management and supporting as needed in processing and coordinating payroll Participate in ad hoc projects and general office administrative tasks to support business as needed. ________________________________________ Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Training & Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or training coordination role At least 2 years of experience supporting talent acquisition activities, including recruiting coordination and candidate management Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team environment Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate comfortably in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a focus on employee engagement and development Self-motivated and solutions-oriented, with a positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and with empathy Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail High level of integrity with demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and records
