RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR – BALFOUR BEATTY (@ONE ALLIANCE)

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will be a true 360 recruitment specialist, confident in your ability to manage and deliver effective recruitment processes effectively, high level of operational excellence and have impact and influence which creates respect with senior stakeholders and Hiring Managers in the business.
What you’ll be doing
Key responsibilities:
- Managing vacancies at all levels through the full recruitment life cycle from approval stage, through to offer and start date.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and act as the specialist point of contact for candidate sourcing.
- Deliver a full 360 recruitment model, by partnering with Hiring Managers and conducting briefing meetings to provide advice and recommendations on recruitment policy, routes to market and direct sourcing methodology and agree timescales, in order to attract the best talent for all roles.
- Participate in the candidate evaluation and selection process, including conducting in-depth screening of candidates and conducting interviews, as appropriate - in order to delivery accurate and tailored shortlists to Hiring Managers.
- Proactively make direct approaches to active and passive candidates, networking across your specific sector, utilise internal referrals and the use of multichannel sourcing to attract a diverse pool of top talent.
- As an experienced recruiter, own the candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process.
- Talent pooling – create internal/external talent pools for positions with niche/specialist skillsets for future requirements.
- Managing external PSL recruitment agencies, ensuring they abide by a rigorous process and work directly with you, to provide CVs and a high-quality service.
- Maintain the ATS, ensuring high quality data integrity, candidate tracking and role status updates, to enable accurate reporting.
- Ensure all advertising channels are optimised by using the BBUK tone of voice, social channels are appropriately used and adopt a search and network approach to recruitment.
- Working closely with your recruiting colleagues, to maximise our internal mobility and alumni strategy and approach for ensuring internal candidates and previous employees are redeployed where possible and as a priority.
- Provide external market intelligence and research and be seen as a subject matter expert within your specialist area for recruitment.

- Proven track record of working as a 360 Recruiter, within an in-house Resourcing function.
- You will be aligned to one of our key specialist areas and you are required to demonstrate considerable experience of recruiting into that sector and you are a true subject matter expert.
- Experience of owning, maintaining and developing stakeholder/Hiring Manager relationships, including appropriate influencing skills.
- A personable team player who works collaboratively with colleagues and demonstrates a willingness to ‘get the job done.
- Assertive, highly professional and willing to both challenge and be challenged and demonstrates self-awareness and emotional intelligence in your relationships with others.
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, social media and recruiting process workflows.
- Experience of developing creative resource planning tools and approaches for candidate attraction.
- A good understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment & selection.
- Acts as an ambassador for Balfour Beatty, networking internally/externally, promoting Balfour Beatty as an Employer of Choice.
