We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant to take charge of a warm permanent desk. You’ll be stepping straight into active demand, partnering with leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 Mining, Civil, Electrical, and Building and construction clients.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across a variety of technical and operational business functions.
• Sourcing & Talent Pipelines: Proactively source, attract, and engage high-quality passive and active candidates using advanced search techniques to build sustainable talent pipelines
• Market Presence: Prepare and advertise vacancies across SEEK, LinkedIn, JobAdder, and other key recruitment platforms.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, provide market insight, and offer strategic recruitment advice.
• Candidate Experience: Coordinate interviews, conduct thorough phone screenings, perform reference and pre-employment checks, and maintain candidate communication to ensure a positive candidate journey.
• Process & Compliance: Maintain accurate recruitment records, track reporting metrics, review position descriptions, and work alongside external recruitment partners where required.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize recruitment workflows, candidate sourcing strategies, and provide general HR administrative support as needed.

About You

• Experience: 2–3+ years of proven experience in end-to-end recruitment or internal talent acquisition.
• Toolkit: High proficiency using SEEK, LinkedIn Recruiter, JobAdder (or similar ATS/HRIS), and Microsoft Office.
• Industry Knowledge: Previous recruitment experience within the Mining, Electrical or Civil Construction Infrastructure sectors will be highly regarded.
• Relationship Focus: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities effortlessly.
• Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, strong process discipline, and the utmost respect for candidate and client confidentiality.
• Team Mindset: Someone who enjoys being part of a team, contributes positively to the office environment, and values collaboration, humour and supporting those around them.
