Description

Tecside is an established workforce solutions and recruitment business with a strong footprint across Western Australia’s construction, civil, mining and industrial sectors.

Our Perth team supports an active workforce across major construction projects, civil works, drilling campaigns, quarries, industrial facilities and FIFO operations throughout WA.

We are looking for someone who wants to build a genuine career in recruitment and be part of a team working across a diverse and fast-moving market.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Construction, Civil & Mining team in South Perth.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with around 1–2 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience who is building the fundamentals and is ready to take the next step. You will work alongside experienced recruiters and leaders who will mentor and develop you across sourcing, screening, labour hire, mobilisation, workforce planning and client delivery.

The role is hands-on, fast paced and highly varied.

The Roles You’ll Recruit:

You will work across a broad range positions, including:

  • All Rounders
  • Labourers
  • Concreters
  • Formwork Carpenters
  • Riggers
  • Scaffolders
  • Dogmen
  • Trade Assistants
  • Loader Operators
  • Dump Truck Operators
  • Boilermakers
  • Drillers and Offsiders
  • Other construction, civil, mining and industrial personnel

You do not need to know every role from day one.

What matters is that you are willing to learn the market, understand what makes a good candidate and build strong relationships with the people you recruit.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Advertising vacancies across SEEK, LinkedIn and other recruitment platforms
  • Searching and engaging candidates through JobAdder and existing talent pools
  • Proactively sourcing candidates rather than relying solely on applications
  • Screening and interviewing candidates
  • Reviewing work history, licences, tickets and relevant project experience
  • Matching candidates against specific role and site requirements
  • Managing candidate availability, rates, rosters and expectations
  • Preparing suitable candidates for submission
  • Working closely with mobilisation and operations teams
  • Maintaining regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Following up placed workers once they commence assignments
  • Building talent pools for recurring workforce requirements
  • Keeping candidate and vacancy information accurate within JobAdder
  • Supporting existing account activity and workforce delivery
  • Identifying strong candidates who can be redeployed between projects and assignments
