This is for someone who doesn’t just want to “run placement drives,” but wants to build a long-term early talent strategy. This role will require you to be on your feet, travelling across the country. Please be mindful of this before applying. SKILLS & QUALIFICATION 1. BUILD THE CAMPUS ENGINE * Create the annual campus hiring plan aligned to business goals * Decide which campuses we double down on (and which we don’t) * Build a year-long engagement calendar beyond placement season activity * Design a predictable, scalable hiring model 2. RAISE THE BAR ON EARLY TALENT * Define what “great” looks like for management trainees and early career roles * Build structured assessment processes * Partner closely with hiring managers to improve selection quality * Track probation success and refine campus targeting accordingly 3. OWN RELATIONSHIPS & BRAND * Build strong partnerships with placement cells and faculty * Represent Plum on campus with credibility and clarity * Run initiatives like case competitions, workshops, internships, or live projects * Ensure we’re seen as a serious, long-term partner and not a one-season recruiter 4. DELIVER WITH DISCIPLINE * Manage multiple campuses and hiring waves without dropping the ball * Drive speed without compromising candidate experience * Track metrics: applications, shortlist %, offer ratio, joins, retention * Use data to improve predictability every year RESPONSIBILITIES EXPERIENCE * 4–6 years in Talent Acquisition * Strong hands-on experience in campus hiring * Experience hiring for sales, operations, MT programs, or other early career roles JUDGMENT * You know when to optimise for scale vs when to optimise for quality * You can differentiate potential from polish * You’re comfortable making calls and standing by them OWNERSHIP * You don’t wait to be told * You plan ahead * You follow through * You fix what’s broken RELATIONSHIP DEPTH * You build trust quickly, with placement cells and with business leaders * You can push back when required * You communicate clearly and confidently DATA ORIENTATION * You track what matters * You use metrics to improve, not just report * You think in pipelines and conversion ratios
