Recruitment Manager – Marketing & Media

For Recruitment, we help our clients hire specialist talent across the marketing industry ranging from: Sales, Account Management, Creative, Marketing, New Business and Production, to, Data, Research & Insights and Operational opportunities. As well as recruitment services, we drive positive people practices across the entire employee experience by delivering HR advisory services: advising on employee relations, policy and procedure, well-being, employee engagement and training and development.

Purpose of the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to join our team, focusing primarily on external recruitment across the full spectrum of marketing, media, creative, production, digital, and data roles. You’ll act as a trusted partner to our clients, delivering exceptional talent through strategic sourcing, candidate management, and hands-on recruitment execution.
This is a client-facing, delivery-driven role requiring deep industry expertise. You’ll manage multiple vacancies across permanent, freelance, and contract positions, working at pace to identify, attract, and place candidates in fast-growing, high-performing teams.
Split: 70% External Recruitment | 30% Internal Focus
Key Responsibilities

External Recruitment Delivery

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process across all marketing disciplines including Creative, Production, Media Planning & Buying, Digital Marketing, Data & Analytics, Brand Marketing, and Content Strategy
  • Deliver high-quality shortlists and manage candidate pipelines proactively
  • Conduct comprehensive job briefs with client stakeholders to ensure deep understanding of requirements
  • Manage multiple roles across various clients simultaneously, maintaining speed, quality, and consistency
  • Execute tactical recruitment campaigns for niche roles and high-volume hiring needs

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for recruitment delivery
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with marketing hiring managers, creative directors, media leaders, Talent teams, and agency partners
  • Provide expert advice on market conditions, salary benchmarking, and sourcing strategies
  • Deliver regular updates, reports, and insights to ensure transparency and alignment on all active roles

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases, social media, and networks to identify top marketing, creative, media, and data talent
  • Create and maintain talent pipelines for high-demand marketing and creative skills
  • Ensure exceptional candidate experience from first contact through to placement
  • Conduct thorough interviews, screen candidates, and provide coaching throughout the hiring process
  • Actively promote diversity and inclusion in all sourcing activities

Strategic Contribution

  • Support creation of compelling job advertisements and candidate marketing materials
  • Contribute to talent attraction strategies and sourcing innovation with the marketing team
  • Collaborate with the wider team to build rich talent pools and maintain client engagement

Essential Skills & Experience

Core Requirements

  • Proven track record recruiting across marketing, media, creative, production, digital, and data roles, preferably in an agency environment
  • Deep understanding of the marketing ecosystem including creative services, media planning & buying, brand marketing, digital channels, production processes, and data analytics
  • Demonstrable success placing both permanent and freelance/contract talent across all marketing disciplines
  • Experience managing external client relationships in fast-paced environments

Technical Skills

  • Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS/CRM systems, and social platforms
  • Data-driven recruitment approach with experience using various sourcing platforms
  • Strong understanding of DE&I principles with proven experience increasing representation
