JOIN A SMALL, DRIVEN, AND FRIENDLY RECRUITMENT TEAM

This is a remote role Tuesday to Friday but you will work closely with another member of the team, based near Ingatstone, so living within close proximity will be a bonus.
About Us
We’re a small but mighty recruitment consultancy looking for a resourceful and skilled Candidate Consultant to help us scale while maintaining our reputation for quality, care, and results.

We’re a team of three:

  • 1 Temp Consultant currently managing 400+ temp hours/week (with a goal of reaching 600 hours in the next 12 months)
  • 2 full-time Permanent Consultants with clients in London, Kent and Essex.

About You
You’ve got generalist recruitment experience and you know how to handle a wide variety of roles and industries. Our clients span Serviced Offices, Logistics, Banking, Financial Services, and more — recruiting for positions like Receptionist, PA, Administrator, and Import/Export.
You’re comfortable jumping between job specs, Boolean searching like a pro, and understanding consultant debriefs to pinpoint the perfect candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Screen and engage with temp and perm applicants (via phone, Zoom and in-person as required)
  • Liaise closely with consultants to understand priorities and share timely updates
  • Upload short listed candidates to Bullhorn CRM, assign to consultants / bookings / vacancies
  • Share job ads across all job boards with support of the consultant
  • Maintain accurate and compliant candidate records and client details
  • Travel into London - City and West End to meet temp candidates and clients.
  • Identifying leads and business opportunities and sharing with the consultants.
  • Oversee Temp candidate onboarding (ID checks, liaising with umbrella payroll providers, ensuring full compliance)
  • Take a proactive approach to building the business with the team.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a Candidate Consultant or Recruitment Consultant role
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail, especially with data entry, compliance, and record-keeping
  • Strong IT skills: job boards, Boolean search, CRM systems, Excel, LinkedIn
  • Self-starter who thrives independently, but enjoys contributing to a close-knit team
  • Organised, adaptable, and not fazed by a fast-paced or ever-changing workload
