Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The People and Culture division at CDC is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and self-motivated Recruitment Specialist to join their team at our Seven Hills depot.
The recruitment team is the first point of contact for anyone interested in a career at CDC, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional candidate experience for all applicants whether successful or not.
This is an ongoing full-time opportunity reporting to the Recruitment manager to provide Recruitment support across our network.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the recruitment specialist you will be responsible for

  • Identifying candidates from direct sourcing channels
  • Screening both directly sourced and candidates who have applied for roles at CDC
  • Liaising with depot managers to support recruitment activities across multiple depots and regions
  • Ensuring all applicants have the relevant qualifications/licenses for the role being considered
  • Liaising with the recruitment coordinator to organise pre-employment checks
  • Liaising with training to book candidates for driving assessments
  • Identifying marketing opportunities to attract new experienced employees
  • Travelling to depots to understand each location and build relationships with depot managers and other key stakeholders
  • Provide up to date reporting on all recruitment activities.

To be successful in this role you will have.

  • Recruitment experience either agency or in house (ideally), or experience within an outbound call Centre/sales environment
  • Prior experience working a fast-paced environment delivering recruitment outcomes and efficiencies
  • Demonstrated experience building productive relationships with key stakeholders and hiring managers
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting, applying and ensuring compliance with relevant enterprise agreements and awards and recruitment procedures throughout the recruitment process
  • Experience using social media platforms to reach candidates and raise awareness of the wider organisation
  • Creative sourcing skills and proactive approach
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
  • Microsoft Office experience is essential, Intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems or sales CRM’s would be highly regarded
