Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Recruitment Specialist, you’ll be the primary contact for a pool of healthcare professionals, guiding them through every step from application to assignment. You’ll build lasting relationships, advocate for their needs, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. You’ll also collaborate closely with your team, which includes an Experience Specialist, a Journey Specialist, and a Clinical Coordinator, to get professionals ready and placed faster and with the right fit.
This is more than a recruiter role. It’s a chance to grow into a leadership opportunity by providing guidance to a team of Specialists and supporting a collaborative, high-performance culture.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Match professionals to travel assignments that align with their credentials, availability, and preferences.
  • Track the full lifecycle of assigned professionals—from applicant to active employee—ensuring timely onboarding.
  • Serve as the go-to contact, checking in with professionals a few days into each assignment to proactively resolve concerns.
  • Provide guidance and support to Experience Specialists to help them complete onboarding tasks and fill assignments.
  • Submit schedules, changes, and time-off requests to Client Managers and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
  • Confirm sleep day preferences and initiate Change of Work Orders (COWO) when needed.
  • Review and cross-reference schedules with work orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Promote a team-based, cross-functional approach by collaborating with Employee Experience Specialists and Clinical Coordinators.
  • Proactively identify and resolve delays, missing documents, or communication gaps in the onboarding process.
  • Communicate job opportunities via calls, texts, emails, and creative broadcasts.
  • Build rapport with your professional pool by understanding their goals, availability, and lifestyle needs.
  • Encourage assignment extensions and facilitate referrals to help grow the company’s active workforce.
  • Apply conflict resolution strategies to manage issues with professionalism and care.
