We are seeking a Recruiting Specialist with a core focus in filling the hiring needs associated with a multitude of business sectors.

SUMMARY:

The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for positions as well as onboarding new hires. Identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with company internal Directors and Operations Managers, identify a ‘perfect fit’ through effective interviewing and company onboarding procedures, while ensuring a positive new hire candidate experience.
Job Summary:
The Recruiting specialist is responsible for efficient and successful recruiting for multiple locations and business units in support of the company’s operational hiring needs. This individual will work closely with other members of the team to ensure smooth recruitment and transition from point of application through initial steps in the background and onboarding process.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • At least two years of prior recruiting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Extensive experience in using candidate sourcing tools for recruiting
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize a diversified workload, meeting established deadlines with minimal supervision

Responsibilities
  • Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory
  • Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory and business category
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify, attract, and source quality candidates
  • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements)
  • Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Ability to travel to nearby facilities once a week
