About the Role:
As our Corporate Recruiter, it’s up to you to find the top talent to take our operations to the next level. Working closely with hiring managers, you’ll play a key role in streamlining our hiring processes, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, negotiating salaries, communicating job offers and participating in the onboarding process.
As the bridge between our company and potential hires, you’ll need a solid understanding of our company culture and brand identity to select the perfect candidates to bolster our dynamic teams.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with department heads and hiring managers, discussing hiring needs and salary ranges to align with their desired outcomes.
  • Create and translate engaging and inviting job descriptions to attract top talent.
  • Manage recruitment websites and post job descriptions on various platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and the Browns website.
  • Screen resumes, conduct first interviews, present a shortlist of qualified candidates to the relevant hiring manager, and set up subsequent interviews via Microsoft Teams.
  • Communicate job offers or rejection emails and negotiate salaries with candidates.
  • Work alongside HR on contract requests.
  • Update hiring managers on hiring statuses.
  • Support store recruitment efforts by recommending diverse and effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the recruiting coordinator.
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of talent acquisition experience with a strong track record in hiring for corporate and technical roles; retail experience is a valued asset.
  • A degree in human resources, business administration, or a relevant field is an asset.
  • Proficiency with multiple recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems.
  • Understanding of HR practices and employment-related legislation.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to manage a high volume of candidates.
  • Ability to quickly understand Browns’ company culture and department needs to ensure new hires align with our values and vision.
  • Bilingualism (English and French).
