With our ongoing expansion and the recent introduction of the Simpler Recycling Legislation in April 2025, Yorwaste is thrilled to announce two new opportunities within our Transport team as Recycling Collection Vehicle (RCV) Drivers.
Pay: £16.29 per hour
Contract: Permanent, full-time, up to 48 hours per week
Hours: Working 4 days on, 3 days off, (12-hour days)
Location: Harewood Whin Waste Transfer Station, Tinker Lane, York YO23 3RR

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Category C Drivers Licence (Class 2) with no historical driving disqualifications.
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
  It is desirable that you have experience operating the specific vehicle type, as well as experience within the waste industry, however is not essential. For further details of the role, please read the Job Description here.
