SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team at Farne Salmon & Trout. In this role, you will play a vital part in our operations by ensuring efficient movement of materials within our facility, contributing to our mission of quality and excellence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role.
• Valid forklift operator certification ( preferred but not essential)
• Full UK drivers license
• Experience of working in a production environment is preferred but not essential
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move products within the site.
• Load and unload shipments accurately to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage inventory levels by conducting regular counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while operating equipment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized site environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve processes.
• Recycling to a high standard
• Handling chemicals in compliance with legislative and procedural requirements
