Description We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our team at our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading an industrial shredder and grinder used to recycle plastic lumps and strands into reusable materials. This is a full-time, union, day shift position (Monday through Friday) offering great benefits and wages. XLD Building 21. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor shredder/grinder machinery to process plastic materials. Perform routine basic inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Sort, load, and feed plastic lumps and strands into machinery according to established procedures. Monitor product output for quality and consistency. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and environmental standards. Work well with other team members to meet production and recycling goals. Complete production logs and all other paperwork as required. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, especially with shredders or grinders, is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift. Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
