SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility for the Red Seal Carpenter is to support the Construction Manager as requested to keep the project moving forward.

HEALTH & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· Healthy & physically fit
· Own PPE and personal tools
· Have your own transportation to and from jobsites all over the lower mainland, and hold a valid BC Driver’s License
· Clear communication in the English language and able to follow instructions
· Minimum 5 year Residential Renovation or New Construction experience required
· Red Seal Carpentry Ticket (Or able to challenge)

Responsibilities

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Follow site safety rules.
  2. Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and safely: forming, framing, finishing, door and window install, clean up, and other various carpentry tasks
  3. Electrical/painting/plumbing/drywall are all subcontracted out but – you need to have a general understanding of these other trades; and how they work together in “house as a system”
  4. Read site drawings
