Red Seal Carpenter/ Skilled Carpenter

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma required.
• 3-5 years of construction experience.
• Red Seal Certification preferred.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 12kg, frequently up to 23kg, and occasionally up to 45kg.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a reliable vehicle (truck preferred).
• Own hand tools and PPE.
• Safety tickets preferred.
• Physically fit to perform the work required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform skilled and general labor duties, including carpentry, drywall, flooring, tiling, plumbing, and light electrical work.
• Install trim, doors, cabinets, and framing.
• Handle drywall installation, taping, and painting.
• Spray paint doors/windows, trim, and shelves.
• Install various flooring types, including LVP, engineered hardwood, and prefinished hardwood.
• Perform small plumbing tasks (e.g., tap replacements).
• Install lights and other electrical fixtures.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are followed on-site at all times.
• Exhibit positive, respectful conduct and communicate well with clients and team members.
• Timely and solutions-focused approach to work.
