Flux Renewables is a leading provider of Premium Solar Solutions. We design, install, and maintain solar systems for residential & commercial clients in the Calgary area.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking immediately, a reliable, genuine & professional individual to join our team as an Journeyperson Electrician in the solar field. Applicant must reside in the Calgary area. Out of country applicants will not be reviewed.
In this role, you will lead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar energy systems. You will work closely with our Project Managers to execute projects with the standard of quality unmatched in the industry.
You will be provided with on site training to ensure alignment with our company mission & standards. Once trained with the proper knowledge to execute solar projects to our standards, you will be equipped with a company van and team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work independently on residential solar projects
• High attention to detail
• Ownership of hand and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must speak fluent English
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable with heights and outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs comfortably.
• The occasional out of town project while staying in an Airbnb.

• Lead in the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including mounting panels, connecting wiring, and installing inverters and other electrical components in a fast paced environment.
• Troubleshooting and repair of solar systems when required.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects and meet quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records & photos of work performed and materials used.
