JOB DESCRIPTION

Core Molding Technologies is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in Cobourg, ON.

EXPERIENCE

·Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electrical field required. Experience in the commercial building industry is a plus but not required.
·Must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and have experience with industrial machinery such as forklifts or heavy equipment such as a skid steerer loader a plus.
·Must be able to work independently with little supervision or supervision at a slow pace but at times must be able to work with little supervision or supervision at a fast pace due to deadlines or safety issues. Must be able to work overtime when necessary as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis as well as push, pull or carry objects over 50 pounds on occasion as needed for installation or renovation jobs that may involve moving heavy equipment over 50 pounds over the course of the day (1-2 days) .

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Industrial Electrician

• Prepare electrical drawings for work to be performed.
• Perform electrical repairs, installations, alterations, and maintenance.
• Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical upgrades and maintenance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Work with various types of equipment including: power tools, hand tools, drills, etc.
• Work with various types of wiring including: grounding, splicing, termination, etc.
• Work with various types of paint including: spraying, roll-off, spray-on, etc.
• Install various types of machinery and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Completion of general Electrical Maintenance
• Electrical PMs as required
• Troubleshooting AC/DC drives
• Utilizes ERP system as required
