JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including experience in industrial settings. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

SKILLS

• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to electrical systems.
• Demonstrated experience as an industrial electrician with hands-on knowledge of electrical installations.
• Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in the electrical trade.
• Strong background in construction practices related to electrical installations and renovations.
• Experience working with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• General maintenance person experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in maintenance tasks.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to ensure efficient operation of systems.
• Work on low voltage systems as well as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to integrate electrical solutions seamlessly.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
