JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including industrial experience and proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations and installations, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years of proven experience as an electrician, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications and programmable logic controllers.
• Must have 309A/442A license.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation accurately.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Experience in construction or renovation projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs on low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulations.
• Provide maintenance person services as needed for various renovation projects.
