We are looking for individuals with at least 7 years of demonstrable machining/operating experience, a strong mix of manual & CNC exposure, and ideally some programming abilities. What are the responsibilities

The Machinist will be responsible for safe set up and operation of CNC and Manual machine tools and support equipment within a fast-paced production setting.

• Set up and operate:

1. CNC Lathes
2. CNC Mills
3. Manual Lathes

4. Manual Vertical Mills

5. Horizontal and Vertical Bandsaws

• Read and interpret drawings
• Inspect parts to confirm the quality
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment
• Operate overhead jib and gantry crane

What are the requirements

• Red Seal Machinist trade qualification
• 5-7+ years of demonstrable experience operating CNC and manual mills, lathes, saws, and auxiliary equipment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability & desire to complete a crane certification course (supported by the company)
• Competent written and verbal communication skills
• High regard for safety, willingness to support safety culture
