QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Red Seal Journeyman status
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
• Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
• Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
• Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
• Able to work outside as and when required during summer and winter months
  Required experience: 5 to 10 years

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift

Work Location: In perso

• Inspect and diagnose vehicle engines and on electrical components
• Do Diagnostic on vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Inspect, replace and repair broken parts for vehicles
• Provide estimates as accurately as possible (cost, time, effort) for repair or maintenance jobs on ALLDATA system software
• Conduct routine maintenance work and repair on vehicles for customers and company vehicles
• Maintain tools and equipment in the shop and report to manager for any tools broken or needed in shop
• Keep logs, inspection reports and other appropriate paperwork, ensuring to report issues
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
• Provide information annually to management what’s needed for sealifts on products and items for garage
• ( Bonus if mechanic can work on heavy equipment if company needs work done.)
