Job Title: Red Seal Welder
Position Type: Full-Time. 8-hour shift minimum with overtime opportunities.
Wage: As per IUOE 115 agreement. Journeyman welder base rate + vacation @ 10%

REQUIREMENTS:

• Red Seal Certification.
• Ability to lift and manage 50 pounds without assistance.
• Able to excel and adapt in dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated and the ability to work alone and independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Demonstrates commitment to safe work practices.
• Conducts business on behalf of Traxxon in a professional manner.
• First-Aid, Forklift, and other certifications considered an asset.
• Experience operating grinders, saws, drills, and measuring tools.
• Basic math skills for fabrication work.
• Experience rigging and using overhead cranes would be a plus.
• Follow and implement maintenance and repair processes.

We are currently seeking a skilled, reliable and motivated Red Seal certified welder. Preference will be given to applicants who have a minimum of 5-year experience. The ideal candidate will fabricate and assemble components to specification. We are looking for a strong team player with excellent problem-solving capabilities who demonstrates dedication and attention to detail in all tasks. The selected candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment, model best practices, communicate effectively and respond promptly and effectively to challenges.
