DESCRIPTION DE POSTE

Nous recherchons un·e rédacteur·trice technique polyvalent·e et bilingue pour soutenir notre équipe dans la préparation et le suivi des dossiers appels d’offres. Le ou la candidat·e sera responsable de la rédaction, de la mise en page et de la gestion des documents soumis, en plus de coordonner les échéanciers et les ressources nécessaires. L’entrée en poste est prévue mi-octobre.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a versatile, bilingual technical writer to support our team in preparing and following up on requests for proposals. The candidate will be responsible for writing, formatting, and managing submitted documents, as well as coordinating schedules and necessary resources. The start date is scheduled for mid-October.

EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in Journalism and/or Urban Studies, or related field;
  • Minimum 6 months of professional experience in the role;
  • Bilingual in French and English;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite), and Acrobat Pro;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Rigorous, detail-oriented, autonomous, proactive, and a team player.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze documents such as requests for proposals, estimates, technical notes, and drawings;
  • Conduct interviews and research to gather the information needed to draft request for proposal documents (particularly regarding architectural project details, subcontractor services, or building archives);
  • Draft, review, and update technical and administrative documents related to bid documents, clearly and concisely presenting work methods, technical specifications, and conditions specific to the services offered;
  • Develop and maintain clear and structured support documents for clients to facilitate their understanding of procedures, deliverables, and technical or administrative requirements related to projects;
  • Design and develop, as needed, training and reference materials for the internal team on RFP processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to updating internal RFP tracking platforms, as well as creating content for the website and improving its user experience, when needed.
