We need a full-time professional with experience in roadside trailer repair. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and handle on-the-spot problems. We can offer 608 and 609 training and certifications Benefits * Medical Plan * Dental Plan * Vision Plan * Paid Vacation * RX Coverage * 401(K) Plan with Employer Match * Company-paid life insurance * Short-Term Disability coverage * Company-logo business apparel * Uniforms and Company-paid uniform maintenance Responsibilities for our Refrigeration / Reefer Tech * Diagnose and repair refrigeration units * Perform DOT inspections and make repairs * Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicles in operation to resolve malfunction, and plan work procedures. * Follow checklists ensuring all critical parts are examined. * Preventative Maintenance repairs on trailers * Attend training classes and keep tabs on factory technical bulletins. * Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer happiness. * Properly complete the service and/or repairs assigned by the supervisor. * Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures. * Maintain your designated workspace in an organized and clean manner. * Ensure guest vehicles are returned as clean as they were prior to being serviced * Adhere to the manufacturer’s policies and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications. * Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management. Qualifications for our Refrigeration / Reefer Tech * Reefer experience or diesel engine repair experience * 608 and 609 Certifications or willing to obtain * Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen * Clean driving record * Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team * Self-motivated and professional * Must be able to work independently Physical Qualifications for our Refrigeration / Reefer Tech * Sitting, Standing, reaching for extended amounts of time * Use job related equipment * Climb ladders * Lift up to 50 pounds * Must be able to work independently EEO M/F/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories.
