JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in various equipment repair and maintenance tasks. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal functionality of heavy machinery and vehicles. The Technician will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality service to our customers.

SKILLS

  • Proven dealership experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
  • Familiarity with diesel engine repair, hydraulic systems, air brakes, shocks & struts, and transmissions.
  • Experience with heavy lifting and the operation of industrial equipment such as tractor-trailers.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and soldering techniques for repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment, farm machinery, and automotive vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance on various types of machinery, including excavators, cranes, and tractors.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for assembly and repair tasks.
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment problems effectively.
  • Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake repair, alignment, suspension work, and HVAC system servicing.
  • Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
