Now, we’re looking for a Senior Performance Test Consultant to join our team on an interim basis.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a confident, adaptable problem-solver who thrives on tackling challenging performance issues. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional results and enjoy working directly with clients, this role is for you.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • MUST be SC Cleared.
  • Proven experience with performance test tools such as JMeter, K6, or Neoload.
  • Strong coding skills in one or more languages: Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, protocols, and microservices.
  • Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis and integrating testing within development pipelines.
  • Knowledge of version control systems and Agile methodologies.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Experience with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, NewRelic).
  • Background in functional test automation.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization, and creating mocks/stubs.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Senior Performance Test Consultant, you’ll play a key role in defining and delivering performance strategies that ensure our clients’ software is fast, reliable, and scalable. From creating test plans to analysing results, you’ll take ownership of the performance testing lifecycle and collaborate closely with stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Defining and implementing performance test plans and approaches tailored to client needs.
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure performance goals align with business objectives.
  • Creating and executing performance and load tests for complex systems using the most appropriate tools.
  • Analysing test results to uncover bottlenecks and investigating metrics from the system under test (SUT).
  • Delivering detailed test execution and closure reports to clients.
  • Staying ahead of tech trends and developing new technical skills.
  • Applying a deep understanding of system architecture to identify and resolve performance issues.
