Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Programme Test Manager to support a major client project based in the North West.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a confident and experienced professional with:

• A solid background in managing and delivering effective testing programmes.
• The ability to work strategically and technically across varied delivery contexts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A deep understanding of modern testing practices and tooling.
• Exposure to continuous delivery, microservices, containerization, and DevOps principles.

BONUS SKILLS:

• Experience in Model-Based Development techniques.
• Proficiency in Simulink and MATLAB for system simulation and testing.
• Familiarity with aerospace, defence, or engineering domains is highly advantageous.

As a Programme Test Manager, you will:

• Provide strategic and technical leadership across complex test programmes.
• Define and implement test strategies that balance technical and business risk within diverse delivery environments.
• Advise on testing processes, frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Lead the implementation of scalable test automation frameworks and continuous testing capabilities.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in delivery and quality engineering, applying new practices where appropriate.
• Oversee test activities across multiple workstreams, vendors, and methodologies.
• Work closely with delivery teams to guide and support—without driving day-to-day operations.
