Job Description Job Title: Record to Report (RTR) Manager / Tower Lead Department: Finance & Accounting Shift: US Shift (Night Shift) Location: Magarpatta Experience Required: 12+ Years in RTR Domain Job Summary: We are seeking a smart, dynamic, and experienced professional to lead our Record to Report (RTR) tower. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership capabilities. This role demands end-to-end ownership of RTR processes, team management, and collaboration with senior stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the RTR tower, overseeing Month-End Close (MEC), journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting • Supervise a team of 10+ members, including Team Leads, Analysts, and Associates • Ensure timely and accurate completion of balance sheet account reconciliations and financial reporting • Collaborate with Controllers and senior management during MEC to meet deadlines and resolve escalations • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization across the RTR function • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to foster growth and performance • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and accounting standards • Coordinate with other F&A towers (AP, AR, T&E) for cross-functional alignment • Handle escalations from business partners with professionalism and prompt resolution. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong academic background in Accounting or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter) • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with global stakeholders • Deep understanding of o Golden rules of accounting o Direct and indirect expenses o Gross profit, Net profit, EBIT o Accrual accounting, prepaids, amortization o Fixed asset accounting and depreciation methodologies o Bank reconciliation and intercompany reconciliation o Book value vs. market value o Consolidation of financial statements • Proficiency in SAP, Blackline, and MS Excel • Strong decision-making ability in high-pressure situations • Experience in managing audits (internal and external) Qualifications Commerce Graduate Additional Information SAP - ERP tool extensive exp Mandatory Team Management - 15 - 20 Members WFO Compulsory US Shifts - Mandatory
