Support Markets and Securities Services by maintaining accurate instrument reference data on core strategic platforms.Help reduce financial risk through strong controls, timely exception management, and responsive client service.  Job Summary  As a Reference Data Specialist within Instrument Reference Data Operations (Markets & Securities Services), you provide operational support and data management by setting up instruments in firm systems. You ensure instrument data is created, maintained, validated, and exceptions are managed in line with the global operating model. You partner with stakeholders and downstream users to resolve queries, strengthen controls, and support ongoing process enhancements across EMEA coverage. Job Responsibilities  * Execute instrument setup activities on core reference data platforms to support Markets and Securities Services requirements. * Follow the global operating model to service instrument reference data needs consistently and accurately. * Maintain instrument reference data, monitor exceptions, and manage remediation through established workflows. * Provide subject matter expertise to downstream teams and clients on instrument data, vendors, and process outcomes. * Ensure controls are in place, procedures are followed, and adherence is maintained to reduce financial and operational risk. * Resolve client queries promptly and professionally, coordinating with business, product, and operations partners as needed. * Support control process development and ad-hoc project work, including staggered shifts and public holiday coverage for EMEA. Required qualifications, skills and capabilities  * Degree in Finance or Technology (or equivalent) and 2+ years Financial Services experience, including Instrument Reference Data * Strong experience with market data vendors: Bloomberg, ICE, Euroclear, Refinitiv * Knowledge of securities operations, industry activities, corporate actions, index tracking, and capital markets * Strong stakeholder communication, analytical/problem-solving skills, and attention to detail; flexibility for EMEA time zone coverage  Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities * Working knowledge across broad instrument types: fixed income, equity, derivatives * Experience improving operational controls and exception management workflows in reference data environments * Prior exposure to client-facing operational support within Markets or Securities Services operating models * Experience supporting staggered shifts, public holiday coverage, and multi-region (EMEA) service delivery JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
