Description University Physicians’ Association (UPA) is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Referral Coordinator to support a Primary Care Referral Center in Knoxville, TN. This position offers a hybrid schedule, combining both work-from-home and in-office flexibility, making it a great fit for candidates seeking balance and collaboration. In this role, you will play a vital part in patient care by coordinating and processing referrals for specialty services, diagnostic tests, and other outpatient services across multiple primary care offices. Responsibilities include obtaining insurance authorizations when needed, maintaining accurate referral tracking, and assisting with general office duties. Prior medical office experience is preferred, but we are happy to train candidates who are eager to learn and grow.
