SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Referrer Engagement Lead to position our specialists and services as the facility of choice across the local area and surrounding counties, while supporting a coordinated commercial and business development strategy for our private patient day-case centre. This role is central to enhancing the experience of referrers and external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless concierge-style referral pathway for GPs, corporate partners, medical secretaries, and external agencies. The focus will be on maintaining, growing, and evolving the Welbeck Centre’s referral network, with emphasis on key customer relationships to win and retain consultant practice and GP referrals. This role is line managed by the Commercial and Business Development Manager, with close collaboration with the Centre Director, senior managers, Doctor Directors, and the wider commercial team.

Responsibilities

ROLE INFORMATION:

We are seeking a proactive Referrer Engagement Lead to strengthen and grow the Welbeck Centre’s referral network. This role will enhance relationships with GPs, corporate partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring a seamless referral pathway and premium service experience. Working closely with the Commercial and Centre leadership teams, you will drive growth by maintaining key relationships and supporting the Centre’s business development strategy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work predominantly Monday–Friday, 9–6pm, with flexibility for evening meetings and events. The role involves developing and strategically growing the referrer network through relationship building, an annual calendar of events, and education of stakeholders on Welbeck’s services. You will monitor referral trends, maintain the CRM database, and use insights to report on performance in line with commercial plans. You will also collaborate with leadership to drive growth in activity and revenue, delivering the business development strategy.
