Description

Title: Refill Assistant
Reporting to: Food for Good Project Coordinator
Rate of pay: £22,932/£12.60 per hour (pro rata)
Hours: 18 hours per week (Saturday work required)
Based: 2-4 East High Street, Crieff, PH7 3AF
Contract Type: Permanent
Holiday entitlement: 133 hours per year (including public/bank holiday entitlement)

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Refill Assistant to support our environmental charitable objectives through the delivery of our Food for Good project. This project aims to embed sustainable living into our community by providing local access to plastic free, responsibly sourced and locally made products. The post will principally focus on maintaining the effective running of the retail element of the project, ensuring that our customers receive fantastic service and that our volunteers are supported.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a retail background who is values-driven, people-oriented, and passionate about supporting their local community.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Providing high quality customer service to refill customers
· Measuring and weighing of products
· Using the till to accurately record sales
· Working with the Project Coordinator to monitor stock levels and place orders
· Maintaining safe manual handling and following health and safety protocols
· Maintaining the hygiene and food safety standards of the shop environment
· Supporting with volunteer duties and schedules
· Supporting with community engagement events as required
· Any other reasonable duties to meet Remake’s business requirements
· Visual merchandising and window dressing
