We are looking for an experienced and licensed Refrigeration and Air Conditioning mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration equipment and HVAC systems in commercial buildings, food/agricultural processing facilities, restaurants, as well as some residential locations. This position requires experience installing, maintaining, and repairing various equipment inculding; walk-in coolers and freezers, roof-top units, restaurant equipment including ice machines, commercial/residential air conditing and heating systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, walk-in coolers and freezers, restaurant equipment and ice machines.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on the above systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed when working on these systems.
  • Create and maintain organized records of customer equipment, repairs and quote jobs.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers.

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed refrigeration mechanic, minimum 3-5 years industry experience required.
  • Possession of G2 or G3 license an asset.
  • On-call shifts, opportunity for over time, must be flexible in scheduling.
  • Brazing certificate and working at heights must be completed.
  • Candidate must have a clean driving record, valid G license, and a clear criminal record.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.93-$55.00 per hour
