Refrigeration Mechanic – HVAC Projects Rival Air Projects Pty Ltd 📍 Melbourne, VIC Rival Air Projects Pty Ltd is a growing HVAC contractor delivering high-quality mechanical services across commercial and industrial projects throughout Melbourne. We are currently seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team and work across a diverse range of HVAC installations, from construction through to commissioning. About the Role You will be involved in the installation, testing, and commissioning of a wide variety of HVAC systems on new and existing projects. This role offers exposure to different project types and the opportunity to work through full project lifecycles. Key responsibilities include: Installation of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems Assisting with system commissioning and performance testing Diagnosing and rectifying faults during installation and commissioning stages Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications Working collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards About You Trade qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic Current ARCtick licence Valid Australian driver’s licence Experience in commercial HVAC installations (commissioning experience highly regarded) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship What We Offer Competitive remuneration based on experience Ongoing work across varied and interesting projects Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth Exposure to end-to-end HVAC project delivery If you’re a motivated refrigeration mechanic looking to work on diverse HVAC projects across Melbourne, we’d love to hear from you.
