Access to Ventia’s: amazing discounts at over 450 retailers across Australia, including major retail brands About the role Ventia is seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanics to perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems across the Defence facilities. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) : Reactive and preventative maintenance on air conditioning and compressor units Repairs, maintenance, and installations of plant & equipment Fault Finding and refurbishment works Compressor changeouts Brake line maintenance and repairs Installation of PCB's (Printed Circuit Boards) Effectively communicate with customers to support other trades people About You Proven experience in a Commercial/Industrial environment Hold a current Refrigeration Mechanic trade qualification & Refrigerant Handling License (RAC) Hold a current Restricted electrical licence Hold a current LVR and CPR (1- year validity) Hold a White Card Respectful and inclusive approach to working with diverse communities Hold a current Australian Driver's License & own transport to drive across sites. You take pride in delivering high-quality work safely and reliably. You follow established procedures, actively look out for your teammates, and understand that safety is a shared responsibility. You contribute to a culture where safety incidents, near misses, and hazards are reported promptly and constructively. Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance.
