Description King & Prince Seafood is seeking skilled Refrigeration Mechanics for second and third shift to support our industrial food processing operations. This role is critical to maintaining the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate brings strong ammonia refrigeration experience, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial food processing refrigeration systems Apply principles and theories of industrial ammonia refrigeration to diagnose system issues Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on plant refrigeration equipment Read and interpret P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams) Demonstrate understanding and compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs Successfully complete and maintain HAZWOPER certification and required annual physicals Accurately document work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities using the CMMS Follow all company safety, quality, SOP, and HACCP standards Respond with urgency to refrigeration system alarms and issues affecting production Collaborate effectively with maintenance and operations teams Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements Ability to work second or third shift Second Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00p.m-1:30a.m., overtime as needed Third Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., overtime as needed High school diploma or equivalent required Solid foundational knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, with a willingness to continue developing advanced skills Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems related to refrigeration equipment Ability to troubleshoot and resolve most issues within assigned discipline Experience with equipment start-up and shut-down procedures Strong mechanical aptitude and proper use of industry tools Demonstrated precision, accuracy, and alertness in work performance Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Excellent attendance record, strong work ethic, and positive attitude Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently King & Prince Seafood offers a competitive Benefits package consisting of: Health Insurance w/ Prescription drug plan Dental Insurance Vision Insurance HSA or FSA Short & Long Term disability insurance Life and AD&D Wellness program EAP Holiday and Vacation paid time off 401(k) Access to: Critical Illness, Accident, and Travel Assistance Insurance
