Fortescue are seeking experienced Refrigeration Technicians to join our infrastructure services team on a fulltime basis. This is a great opportunity to join a team of qualified tradespersons, responsible for maintaining and repairing Fortescue’s non-processing infrastructure.
Work Location: Across all Fortescue Pilbara Operations - predominately Port Hedland
Roster: 7D7N14R – FIFO ex Perth

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Refrigeration/Air Conditioning) - dual traded Electricians will also be highly regarded
• Current West Australian Electrical License
• Senior first aid / CPR
• Current Refrigerant Handling License
• Previous fault finding and repair experience on air conditioning split systems, closed-circuit water chillers, ice machines etc
• Effective communication & interpersonal skills, including report writing
• Ability to time manage, organise & prioritise workload
• Flexibility to work across a wide range of refrigeration disciplines
• Competent in reading technical manuals/plans/schematics
• Sound problem solving skills
• WA Class C Driver’s Licence
