This is a fantastic opportunity to support, and give back to, your local community.   We currently have opportunities to join our Waste and Recycling team as a Refuse HGV Driver.   Your role:  You’ll be responsible for driving HGV Refuse Collection Vehicles - always prioritising health, safety, and excellent customer care. This role is essential in keeping our streets clean and tidy. As the Driver for your round, you’ll also act as chargehand, taking accountability for the vehicle and crew each day. In addition, you’ll assist with in-cab technology, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all information related to your route.   What you will need:  You will need to hold a full UK Driver’s License, an LGV Class 2 Category C licence and a valid driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Responsibilities
You will be responsible for driving HGV refuse collection vehicles while ensuring the safety and efficiency of the crew. Additionally, you will act as a chargehand, managing the daily route and utilizing in-cab technology to complete tasks accurately.
