Description

A leading supplier in the processed seafood trading industry, specializing in premium canned crab and seafood products is currently seeking a Regional Account Manager to join their team to manage East Coast Clientele. The role starts on-site in New York, with the possibility of transitioning to a regional satellite office based on performance and business needs. This is a direct hire, full time position.

STRATEGIC ACCOUNT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer relationship roles (seafood, foodservice, or CPG industry preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Comfortable with regional travel (up to 70%)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential customers in the foodservice, retail, and distribution sectors
  • Drive sales growth across the East Coast region through prospecting, cold calling, and in-person visits
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation through closing
  • Identify customer needs and provide solutions using our product line
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and service satisfaction
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior leadership
