Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Mining

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Ontario. This role is instrumental in driving sales revenue by developing strong, in-depth relationships with key stakeholders, including consulting engineers and mining companies. The successful candidate will identify opportunities, generate sales from mining sites and operations, and strategically expand our market share and presence in Ontario’s mining hubs.
Key Responsibilities:
Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Communicate effectively, understand customer needs, provide relevant information, and address any concerns or objections.
Internal Communication and Collaboration: Support the company’s 2030 strategy, collaborate with the sales and engineering teams, actively attend sales meetings, contribute to peers’ success, identify challenges, and find innovative solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations while maintaining customer value.
Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our products and services, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Effectively communicate this information to potential customers.
Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations or demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of our products and services. Tailor presentations to the specific needs and interests of the customer.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate effectively to find win-win solutions for both the customer and the company.
Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, preferences, and sales activities using a CRM system.
Manage Installed Base: Oversee KSB’s installed base of water and slurry pumps in Ontario. Develop strong relationships with end users operating KSB – GIW pumps.
Opportunity Identification: Identify and pursue opportunities with consulting engineers, end users, and mining operation sites in Ontario’s mining hubs.
