• Managing the account relationship with Local Authorities (LA) and supporting the delivery of high-quality employment support and mentoring services. This will involve visits to LA and community premises.
• Monitoring and driving performance, ensuring that the programme delivers against its agreed targets in accordance with the Welsh Government agreements with each LA.
• Analyse trends in performance of delivery teams, providing feedback to senior managers. Reporting and advising on progress within your LA region.
• Act as main contact point to provide support and guidance to your LA areas.
• Undertake regular monitoring meetings with CfW+ delivery teams and LAs to monitor progress and support effective delivery.
• Gather information on good practice and issues within the programme for sharing and resolution.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders including Careers Wales, Working Wales, Jobcentre Plus, and other LA projects.
• Support the preparation of high-quality government business.
• Work with other WG departments and develop local networks and relationships to support the delivery of employability programmes.
• Support the wider Employability Division by carrying out appropriate tasks in line with the ongoing development of the Employability Support Programme
