Field Sales Engineer / Account Manager – Industrial Automation
Region: London, Essex, Kent & Sussex

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for technology and industrial automation? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Field Sales Engineer / Account Manager to manage and grow business across London, Essex, Kent, and Sussex.
The role is home-based and focused on getting out to meet customers around four days per week. You’ll take ownership of an existing territory worth around £2M, building strong relationships with current accounts while also uncovering new business opportunities. Day-to-day, you’ll be supported by a dedicated internal sales team and experienced product specialists, so you can concentrate on developing customer relationships and providing the right technical solutions.
Success in this position comes from understanding your customers, spotting opportunities, and offering solutions that make a difference. You’ll work with a wide variety of businesses, from SMEs to major blue-chip companies, across multiple sectors.
This role suits someone proactive, confident, and able to work independently, with a genuine interest in technical solutions and the drive to succeed. Experience in industrial automation, electrical components, or technical sales would be highly beneficial, but strong relationship-building skills and a willingness to learn are equally important.
