Job Description Job Summary The Regional Assistant Tax Manager role will provide support for all tax related matters across and will be reporting to the Regional Tax Manager based in Singapore. The scope of work and responsibilities of this role includes: Scope of Work of This Role: Managing tax compliance matters in APAC region (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, etc.) via internal accounting teams and external service providers; Managing tax accounting works (quarterly and / or yearly tax provision and deferred tax calculation, if applicable) for APAC entities; Working with the Regional Tax Manager to provide analysis and recommendations on current and / or future organizational structure in APAC region from tax perspective. This includes but is not limited to analysis on how to reduce tax leakages, achieve tax optimization, etc.; Working with the Regional Tax Manager to manage transfer pricing within the APAC region. This includes but not is not limited to local files, service agreements, project financing and other transfer pricing compliance works; Being the point of contact for APAC Finance Team for all tax related matters; Supporting the Regional Tax Manager who acts as intermediary between HQ Tax Department and Singapore Regional HQ to coordinate with relevant stakeholders; and Other ad-hoc tax advisory matters. Qualifications Requirements of This Role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field; Master’s in Tax, CA/CPA, or equivalent preferred. Min. 6-7 years of progressive regional or global tax experience, ideally within multinational corporations and Big 4 firms. Strong technical expertise in direct/indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and international tax principles (OECD, BEPS, Pillar Two). Experience managing tax operations across multiple jurisdictions.
