Regional LPO Branch Manager

We are currently seeking applicants for a Regional LPO Branch Manager in the Texas region.

Qualified Candidates will be responsible for:

  • Manage the secondary market lending function of multiple loan production offices or mortgage teams, ensuring achievement of company set sales objectives while maintain compliance with all bank regulatory requirements and laws.
  • Ensure that borrowers are provided the required documents to comply with bank regulations and laws, including but not limited to TRID disclosures, and other Real Estate Settlement and Procedures Act (RESPA) documents.
  • Serve mortgage loan borrowers within the target market area in an extraordinary manner to increase Magnolia Bank’s brand name and reputation in the communities served, including active community involvement.
  • Educate staff on and enforce the policies and procedures established regarding the secondary mortgage market lending function, including addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Hire and assist in training LPO Branch Managers and loan production office personnel, providing accurate and timely feedback on the progress of new personnel.
  • Complete annual reviews for all loan production office personnel and determine appropriate salary increases, if applicable
  • General office management duties
  • Other projects/duties as assigned by supervisor.

Candidates must also have knowledge in:

  • Bank’s secondary market policies and procedures
  • State and Federal regulations concerning secondary market mortgage lending.
  • Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae guidelines
  • FHA and VA guidelines
  • Other investors’ guidelines
  • Continuously set individual and team goals in support of the company’s goals.
  • Manage other employees in loan production office to ensure goal achievement.
  • Use judgment skills to make sound and accurate decisions in a timely manner.
  • Organize activities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Quickly adapt to new procedures and processes as loan regulations change.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and individuals that conduct business with the Bank.

Enter Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • College courses relating to marketing, business, or finance is preferred.
  • Minimum four years secondary mortgage market lending experience
  • Must have working knowledge of Office 365 products, including proficient in Word, Excel, and email software.
  • Must have experience with software products commonly used in the mortgage industry such as Encompass, Optimal Blue, LP & DU, CRM platforms, and POS systems.

This position reports to the National Retail Sales Director.
