Regional Business Manager – Central & East Java Base Location: Surabaya, East Java Area Coverage : Central & East Java, Bali & Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia Role Overview The Regional Business Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and sales performance across Central & East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara, with a strong emphasis on the retail market. This role goes beyond a traditional Area Sales Manager position, involving strategic leadership, multi-regional coordination, and high-level stakeholder engagement. The Regional Business Manager will lead a team of Area Sales Managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the company’s vision and achieve commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals, focusing on retail market growth across Central & East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide Area Sales Managers to meet sales targets, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a high-performance culture. Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration in both established and emerging retail channels. P&L Management: Oversee the region’s profit and loss, ensuring sales activities are budget-compliant and contribute to overall financial health. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and internal stakeholders to support sales strategy execution. Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to evaluate performance and implement improvement strategies. Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient sales operations with a focus on process optimization, resource utilization, and compliance with company policies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to support promotional campaigns, product launches, and inventory planning. Reporting and Insights: Deliver detailed reports and actionable insights to senior management on regional performance, market dynamics, and strategic recommendations. Requirements Extensive experience in a senior sales role within the FMCG industry, preferably with multi-regional management and large team leadership. Proven success in driving retail market growth, with strong knowledge of the Central & East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara retail landscape. Strong leadership and people development skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic actions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
