Location: localised region Norfolk/Suffolk/ Essex (Region-wide travel required across care homes within an hour’s drive of each other)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Car Allowance: £6,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full Time permanent
Reports to: Head of Care and Compliance

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Partner & Nurse Educator to lead the development and delivery of high-quality education and training programs within Stow Healthcare. This role is pivotal in enhancing the clinical knowledge, skills, and confidence of care staff, ensuring safe, person-centred care across our services.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Registered Nurse (Adult, Mental Health, or Learning Disabilities) with current NMC registration.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post-registration experience, ideally within both healthcare and social care environments.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience in delivering training and facilitating learning events in clinical or care settings.
  • Strong understanding of the social care landscape, including regulatory and safeguarding frameworks.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and support learners at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Commitment to person-centred care and values-based practice.
  • Proficient in using digital tools for e-learning and training delivery.

DESIRABLE:

  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Previous experience working in care homes, domiciliary care, or supported living services.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based training programs for clinical staff, including topics such as medication management, infection control, safeguarding, end-of-life care and nurse preceptorship
  • Support the professional development of clinical staff through mentorship, coaching, and clinical supervision.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify training needs and tailor educational interventions accordingly.
  • Ensure training aligns with current legislation, regulatory standards (e.g., CQC), and best practice guidelines.
  • Lead on the implementation of competency frameworks and clinical skills assessments.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and audits related to clinical practice in social care settings.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, outcomes, and staff competencies.
  • Act as a clinical resource and role model, promoting a culture of continuous learning and reflective practice.
