Description

Howdens Joinery are looking for a new Regional Compliance Auditor to join us in a full-time permanent position.
As a FTSE 100 business with an ambitious growth agenda, you will be responsible for providing our trade business with independent assurance of operational, legal, and procedural compliance in respect of stock and cash management, health and safety and inventory verification.
Responsible for the East Anglia Depots, you will be expected to travel the region covering Skegness, Peterborough, Chelmsford and Great Yarmouth.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Experience of working in internal audit with a good knowledge of the principles of Internal audit, and risk and control within the retail or trade industry.
  • Good working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Attention to detail, analytical with thorough investigative skills.
  • Numerate and with good written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills, able to manage relationships with auditees and area managers effectively.
  • Presentation skills and confident when asked to present to a group.
  • Hold a full driving license.
  • Relevant degree, accounting qualification or Internal Audit professional Qualification (IIA) would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAP finance modules, or of K8 would be desirable.
