Overview Care Hospice is looking for a Regional Compliance Nurse (RN) to join our growing team in Texas! The Regional Compliance Nurse (RN) partners with the Program Director and Site Leadership to ensure the development and ongoing administration of the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. The Regional Compliance Nurse (RN) monitors compliance with current laws and regulations, process improvement initiatives, and the implementation of clinical best practices. *Must reside in Texas and be willing to travel up to 75% within Texas. Maintains knowledge of and compliance with current Medicare/Medicaid, state/federal rules and regulations for hospice services. Ensures compliance with the Medicare conditions of participation and other state regulations govern the provision of healthcare. Assists with transition of new sites obtained via acquisitions. Identifies and communicates clinical staff education needs to Hospice leadership. Promotes positive motivation, identifies problems and/or deficiencies, assist in developing action plans, educates staff, and implements solutions for the QAPI program and follows up in a timely manner. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred. Current Registered Nurse licensure in State of Practice required. Must reside within Texas and be willing to travel up to 75% within region Texas. Minimum of 2 years healthcare quality and compliance experience required. Minimum of 3 years hospice experience required. Strong technical skills to include proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, EMR Systems, and the use and development of databases. Netsmart experience a plus. Demonstrated effective leadership skills in QAPI management, strategic planning, and/or program and staff development. $105,000 - $120,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
